Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect to join a long-term strategic project with one of our clients in the Aalst region.Our client is a large international player in the construction and infrastructure sector and is currently running a large-scale ERP transformation based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. With approximately 100 entities already live across Belgium, Luxembourg and France, and further international roll-outs planned, this is a key role within a growing and evolving ERP landscape.You will take ownership of the end-to-end solution architecture, while helping shape the future architecture of the organisation and supporting the transition from a hybrid IT landscape towards a more scalable and standardised D365 F&O platform.Your role As the Senior Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the solution architecture across Finance, Procurement and Logistics.You will work closely with IT, business stakeholders and external implementation partners to ensure that the D365 F&O landscape is scalable, integrated and aligned with the organisation's long-term strategy.The role combines strategic architecture with a pragmatic, hands-on approach, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in complex environments and turning architectural challenges into practical solutions.Your responsibilities include

• Taking end-to-end ownership of the D365 F&O solution architecture across Finance, Procurement and Logistics
• Designing, documenting and governing the integration architecture between D365 F&O, legacy systems, APIs and the data warehouse
• Supporting and guiding international D365 F&O roll-outs across multiple entities and countries
• Managing architectural challenges within a hybrid landscape, where legacy and new systems operate in parallel
• Defining a scalable and standardised "plug-and-play" architecture to support future international expansion
• Working closely with internal IT and business stakeholders at different organisational levels
• Collaborating with external implementation partners while helping to progressively strengthen internal capabilities
• Supporting the organisation with reporting and data-related challenges, including Power BI and data warehouse requirements
• Ensuring architectural decisions remain aligned with business objectives, scalability and long-term ERP strategy

What we're looking for We're looking for a senior and pragmatic Solution Architect who is comfortable operating in complex, international ERP environments and can combine strong D365 F&O expertise with a broader architectural perspective. You ideally have:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Solid experience across Finance, Procurement and Logistics
• A proven track record in end-to-end ERP implementations
• Experience working as a Solution Architect within complex and international ERP environments
• Strong knowledge of integration architecture, APIs and enterprise application landscapes
• Experience working with hybrid environments involving both legacy and modern systems
• Good understanding of data and reporting environments, ideally including Power BI and data warehouses
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A pragmatic, hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
• The ability to operate effectively between business, IT and external implementation partners
• Fluency in Dutch and English
