He worked in various roles at many companies, from startups to multinationals, but gradually discovered that his heart lay in SAP Consultancy. Philippe de Graaf has a unique background. He completed studies in both computer science and economics, as the intersection between these fields always fascinated him. This combination provided him with new insights into the business context.
After his studies and military service, he entered the corporate world. After holding various roles at large companies, he joined a startup where he learned a lot about entrepreneurship. When this company didn't take off due to global issues, he moved to another software company in a dual role as an SAP SD consultant and co-CEO. After a successful journey of almost 20 years, this firm was acquired, and he realised it was time for something new.

Philippe has now been working as an SAP Consultant at Danone for more than two years and is still happy with his role every day. When he talks about his work, his enthusiasm is evident. "The work environment is professional, and my knowledge and skills align very well with the requirements of my role. The most enjoyable part of my job is optimising processes and solving problems. I feel like I can really add value to the company."
Philippe works in a small, dynamic team for the Benelux region within the larger IT structure of the globally leading food company. The team handles order flows and supply chain management, but Philippe mainly deals with the order and invoicing process. His background in economics is particularly useful here, especially in optimising processes and efficiently handling business-related aspects. He regularly contacts clients, including major supermarket chains in the Netherlands and Belgium.
