Senior Program Manager

Location: Hybrid (Europe) Contract: Freelance / Interim Duration: 6 months Start Date: ASAP We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to join a leading global technology platform on a 6-month interim assignment. This is a strategic leadership role where you will oversee a portfolio of high-impact, cross-functional programs while managing a team of experienced Program and Project Managers.What you'll do

• Lead and develop a team of 7-9 Program and Project Managers.
• Oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives, including technology, AI and regulatory programs.
• Drive successful delivery of complex, cross-functional programs across multiple business functions.
• Align senior stakeholders and provide clear program governance, reporting and decision support.
• Improve and standardize Program Management Office (PMO) processes and ways of working.
• Manage program risks, dependencies, prioritization and delivery metrics.
• Partner closely with Business Operations to integrate program reporting into business planning and execution.What we're looking for
• 10+ years of Program Management experience in a technology or product-driven environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing Program or Project Management teams.
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing or improving PMO frameworks and governance.
• Strong background managing large, complex, cross-functional programs from strategy through execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Experience working with Agile and Lean methodologies.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.Preferred experience
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Miro and Google Workspace.
