Salesforce Integration Specialist (Freelance / Contract) Amsterdam, Netherlands | Full-time We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Integration Specialist to join a fast-paced engineering environment where you will play a key role in connecting critical business systems and ensuring seamless data flow across platforms. Your Role As a Salesforce Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and internal backend systems. You will work on improving existing architectures, ensuring data integrity, and enabling scalable solutions that support continuous product development. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust integrations between Salesforce and internal APIs
  • Maintain and enhance middleware/proxy layers that enable secure, bidirectional data exchange
  • Refactor and improve legacy systems to support scalability and continuous delivery
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, readability, and maintainability
  • Implement testing strategies to guarantee reliability and data integrity
  • Monitor system performance and resolve production issues in a timely manner
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring problems
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions
  • Provide input on architectural decisions and integration strategiesYour Profile
  • Strong experience with Salesforce integrations (APIs, web services, data flows)
  • Solid backend development skills (e.g., Java, Kotlin, or similar)
  • Experience with system integration and API design
  • Proven experience with refactoring and improving legacy systems
  • Familiar with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
  • Experience in handling production incidents and maintaining system reliabilityNice to Have
