Are you an experienced CRM Email Developer looking for an exciting interim opportunity? Our client in Noord-Holland is searching for a specialist to optimize and scale their CRM-driven email marketing efforts. If you have a strong background in email development, automation, and segmentation, this role is for you!
Location: Noord-Holland (Hybrid/Remote possible)
Contract: Interim/Freelance (6 months, option to extend)

What You'll Do:

Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive HTML/CSS email templates.
Build and manage automated workflows, customer journeys, and dynamic content in Customer.io.
Ensure pixel-perfect, responsive email designs across all major clients (Outlook, Gmail, iOS, Android, etc.).
Work closely with CRM and data teams to create personalized, data-driven email campaigns.
Use AI-assisted development tools like Cursor.ai and GitHub Copilot to speed up development and maintain clean, scalable code.
Set up A/B tests, analyze performance, and optimize for higher engagement & conversions.
Ensure best practices in email deliverability, accessibility, and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
Document and improve CRM and email workflows for better efficiency.

Who You Are:

2-4+ years of experience in email development & CRM-driven marketing.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and email coding best practices (tables, inline styles, fallback techniques).
Hands-on experience with Customer.io, or similar platforms like Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or HubSpot.
Strong understanding of email personalization, segmentation, and event-triggered automation.
Familiar with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor.ai, GitHub Copilot).
Detail-oriented, with a passion for pixel-perfect execution.
A proactive, collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with Segment (CDP) for advanced audience segmentation.
Familiarity with MessageBird or other omnichannel messaging platforms.
Basic knowledge of APIs for CRM integrations.
